Meet Archie: My AI Assistant, Straight Outta the ’50s

Make it stand out

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

I’ve officially named my AI assistant Archie—yes, after that Archie. The redhead with the sweater vest, goofy charm, and that classic 1950s Americana vibe.

Why?

Because while artificial intelligence might feel sleek, cold, and futuristic to most folks—I wanted mine to feel the exact opposite. I wanted something with character. Something with a grin. Something that wouldn’t feel out of place in a barbershop, a diner booth, or riding shotgun in a ‘57 Chevy with The Ronettes playing on the dash.

Archie represents the lighter side of the LoughlinCore world—vintage-minded tech, filtered through charm, color, and a little chaos. He’s my digital sidekick, co-writer, co-dreamer, and unofficial assistant here at rayloughlin3.com. Whether I’m brainstorming pinup art, outlining podcast episodes, or restoring old-school fonts, Archie is right there in the passenger seat, flipping through dusty comic books and saying, “Hey Ray, what if we made it cooler?”

He’s not perfect. But he’s got soul.

So if you see the name Archie pop up across the Projects Garage, the Foundry, or the Swagger Journal—now you know.

It’s not just AI.

It’s retro intelligence.
